Membership

Any individual interested in the purpose of the association may become an individual member upon payment of annual dues. Membership privileges include voting, holding office, and receiving Northwest Science. All memberships and subscriptions (except Honorary) are based on the calendar year and run from January 1 through December 31. Members who join or renew between January 1 and December 31 are entitled to and will receive all materials for the year.   

High school or college students may become "student members" upon the payment of annual student membership dues. Student members shall receive Northwest Science and will have all the privileges of membership except voting and holding office.

Want to provide further support?  NWSA provides two options that both support student grants, promotes scientific research, and disseminates scientific knowledge:

  • Join as a Sustaining Member and your name will be published in Northwest Science
  • New & Renewing members can contribute to the Howard R. Flint Fund. Contact Robin Lesher for more information.  

NWSA membership options and current dues:

  • Student membership: $20/yr
  • Individual membership: $40/yr
  • Individual membership ouside of United States: $50/yr (to cover additional postage for journal)
  • Sustaining membership: $60/yr
  • Institutional membership: $80/yr (Contact Robin Lesher for information)

Payment Methods

  • Online: membership renewals and new memberships can be paid online using the form below.

  • Mail/phone: membership renewals and new memberships can be paid by check or credit card by completing the 2024 membership form and posting to NWSA Treasurer, Robin Lesher.
